Day 1 | Highlights:
Welcome to Prague, one of Europe’s magical cities. Situated on the banks of the River Vltava in central Bohemia, this beautiful city is rich in history and is home to some of the world’s most pristine collections of architecture. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your centrally located hotel. This evening meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome drink. Included is a three night stay in Prague.
Day 2 | Prague Highlights:
This morning we explore the sights of the Old Town Square on a guided walking tour. We see Mozart´s Theatre, Little Square and Astronomical Clock. We continue our tour and walk across the Charles Bridge spanning the River Vltava and full of portrait artists and small vendors, to board our coach to drive to the 1,000–year–old Prague Castle area. With our local guide we walk through Hradcany Square, for the spectacle of the Changing of the Guard. See the magnificent Loreta Monastery, and arrive at Hradcany Castle. Here we see Old Kings Palace, St. George´s Monastery, and The National Gallery painting.

Day 3 | Prague Highlights:
Your Tour Director is on hand to help plan your day’s exploring. The baroque quarter of Mala Strana is a must see, as is Josefov, the Jewish quarter. You will no doubt return to the lively atmosphere around the Charles Bridge for another look.

Day 4 | Prague - Nuremberg Embarkation Highlights:
Transfer by coach to Nuremberg to join your fellow passengers on board of the Emerald Waterways luxury river cruise ship. Tonight you will sail through the Main-Danube Canal.
Day 5 | Bamberg Highlights:
Relax on board this morning as we cruise to Bamberg. Feel the magic of the past as you explore this UNESCO World Heritage city with your guide. Boasting one of Europe’s largest intact medieval town centres, Bamberg is bursting with character and charm. At the town centre is the largest preserved old quarter in Europe. Around 2,400 listed buildings and the centuries–old garden quarter form a special cultural heritage. Admire hundreds of building façades richly decorated in fascinating detail with spectacular ornamentation. This evening the Captain will be delighted to welcome you to the Captain’s Welcome Dinner.
Day 6 | Wurzburg Highlights:
Known as the “Pearl of the Romantic Road”, Wurzburg is surrounded by sloping hills covered with vineyards. Visit the Bishops’ Residenz, one of Germany’s largest and most ornate baroque palaces and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your tour highlights the palace’s unique staircase, elaborate 18th century frescoes and the amazing 3–dimensional stuccowork.
Day 7 | Wertheim - Miltenberg Highlights:
Welcome to Miltenberg, a picturesque village on the Main River, which creates an imitable feeling of Bavarian life in medieval times due to the Old Town being lined with well-preserved half-timbered buildings. The gothic Merchant Hall is an impressive symbol of past affluence created by trade from river traffic.

Day 8 | Koblenz Highlights:
Today you arrive in Koblenz, visit the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress on the opposite side of the river. This fortress was part of the Prussian defences against the French in the 19th century and later used as a headquarters for the American military during WWII. Sail through the spectacular Rhine Gorge, passing countless castles and vineyards as well as the infamous Lorelei statue and Pfalzgrafenstein Castle, which was built on an island in the middle of the river as a medieval toll station. Countless vineyards and medieval castles line the shores of this section of the river, with photo opportunities at every bend.
Day 9 | Cochem Highlights:
Today enjoy the enchanting town of Cochem. In the morning you will have a guided walk and the opportunity to visit the Reichburg Castle. This evening the Captain will be delighted to welcome you to the Captain’s Farewell Dinner.
Day 10 | Bernkastel Highlights:
Dating back to 3000BC, Bernkastel is situated along the banks of the Moselle River and home to well-preserved buildings dating back to 1416. On this morning’s guided walking tour, stroll through the medieval marketplace with its gabled timber-framed houses, castle ruins and town gate. Historically a winegrowing town, vines cover the steep-slopes surrounding the village.

Day 11 | Bernkastel Disembarkation - Paris Highlights:
Today you will transfer from Bernkastel to Paris, the city of light, checking three countries off your list. First, travel from Bernkastel to Luxembourg by coach, where you will have lunch. In the afternoon, take a train from Luxembourg to Paris is also known as the city of love, for its romantic atmosphere. Stroll through the boulevards, passing by the bridges to the Eiffel Tower as it lights up at night. Included is a three night stay in Paris.
Day 12 | Paris Highlights:
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Europe’s crowing city on a guided tour that passes by landmarks such as Notre Dame Cathedral and the Arc de Triomphe. Continue exploring on a Seine River cruise that ends at the iconic Eiffel Tower
Day 13 | Paris Highlights:
Visit the Louvre to witness the legendary Mona Lisa smile in-person, or perhaps venture below ground to explore Paris’ vast labyrinth of catacombs. Paris is at your fingertips, waiting to be seized, and the possibilities are limitless. This evening enjoy a scrumptious Parisian dinner.
