Viennese Evening Concert

Enjoy an evening concert at one of Vienna's most beautiful concert halls. Emerald Waterways will arrange this private concert exclusively for you to enjoy favourites such as the Blue Danube Waltz and the Radetzky March. A complimentary glass of sparkling wine on arrival adds to the special occasion – the perfect start to a truly memorable evening. Whether you’re a lover of classical music or not, this is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Excursions on the Rhine River

Moselle Valley & Cochem Castle Visit

Perched on a hill 300 feet above the Moselle Valley lies Cochem, a medieval town renowned for its magnificent castle. A long history precedes what we see of Cochem Castle. Originally thought to have been built around the 9th century, in 1689 Louis XIV ordered his troops to destroy the beautiful Romanesque structure and it was left in ruins for 180 years. In 1868, German businessman Louis Ravené began restoring it, adopting the neo-Gothic style.

Excursion to a local Brewery

In beautiful Regensburg, visit one of the many local breweries to explore the origins, history and, of course, tastes of some of Germany’s most famous beer. You’ll see how traditional brewery techniques have merged with modern technology, before having the opportunity to sample a range of classic Bavarian beers.

Excursion to Riquewihr

Just across the border, in the ancient French commune of Alsace, lies the attractive town of Riquewihr. Located on the Alsace Wine Route, the town is revered for its fine vintages, earning it the nickname ‘the gem of the Alsace vineyards’. After a tour, you’ll have the opportunity to taste the wines of a local winery.

Danube River excursions in Eastern Europe

National Opera Theatre Tour

Built in 1868, this spectacular theatre is home to a variety of performing arts. Opera, ballet and drama have long been enjoyed here, as Serbia awoke to the idea of theatre. These cultural pursuits, consequently, were of great help in conquering illiteracy and aiding the growth of the national culture. Haarlem Discovery Visit

Once home to a handful of the Netherland’s foremost artists, Haarlem is a charming, historic town to the northwest of the Netherlands, just outside Amsterdam, which provides a wonderful insight into quintessential Holland. Guided Tour of the Pont Gard

A masterpiece of Roman engineering which remains one of their most priceless architectural relics outside of Italy; the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Pont du Gard aqueduct is an unforgettable sight on your passage through southern France. Marvel at the three-level, 48-metre-high Roman structure, which served as an aqueduct until the 6th century, transporting some 20,000m3 of water a day.
